My Little Christmas Pudding

Finally taking a breath after the madness of Christmas and New Year. Baby's first Christmas was utterly amazing. It was a precious time to see not only Amelie being so loved and happy but how special the time was for all our family and friends. Christmas has a whole new meaning again, already counting down the days until next year.

Although there was certainly a level of stress even though Amelie is highly unlikely to remember at four months old every bauble, outfit, decoration etc had to be just right! Stress levels went through the roof and just on cue teething kicked in... so lack of sleep and little time meant that I was online shopping round the clock, working until the last minute but made sure come Christmas Eve, I switched off and full attention was on our little family.

Christmas was my last excuse to indulge and ignore the ever looming baby weight still hanging around. So I dived face first into the cheese, chocolate and treats knowing that come January 1st I was going to be on a healthier diet with the help of my new Hemsley & Hemsley cook book. Determined to shift the final few pounds and most importantly get fit and feel happy in my skin again.


Can't believe we are in 2016 and no longer in the year bubs was born, time is flying and I am really trying to not miss a beat.
