Ready, set, GO!

It's amazing what I can now achieve in twenty minutes. I permanently feel like I'm on a game show, dashing around ticking off the to do list.

I have no idea how it used to take me an hour to get ready. I am now a master of getting dressed on the go, hopping from room to room whilst putting a sock on, pulling a jumper over my head...packing what feels like an overnight bag each time we leave the house, putting the cat out, replying to an email, shower, voicemail, calls, eat...Ready, set, Go!

Then once we are both out the door, deep breath, compose myself and then make it all look effortless... Let's face it motherhood is unbelievably rewarding but also one hell of a challenge. I now constantly feel like I am carry around my most important worldly possession which I protect with my entire self. I guess this is why they say motherhood/parenthood is selfless.


I've learnt to work within windows of time to get work done and focus on myself whilst little one sleeps. I now cherish these moments to myself yet can't wait for her to wake again!

I already had a pretty fast paced lifestyle before bubs arrived with filming, running a company, castings, social life... so now we have just thrown a baby into the mix to make life even more interesting. Wouldn't change it for the world... bring it on!

Thank goodness for modern technology, no idea how my mum did it without an iPhone! WhatsApp is my new best friend along with chocolate and coffee of course.
