59 seconds with...Me

Had a lovely time chatting with Mother Pukka for the force that is Mothers Meeting

Mothers Meeting is a wonderful network I am thankful to have tapped into since having Amelie. It brings together like minded mums with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

59 seconds with… Juliet Oldfield
She’s the flaxen-haired actress who got her big break opposite British heavyweight Tom Hardy in Bronson. When it’s not all lights, camera and action, Juliet’s looking after her daughter Amelie and wondering if she’ll ever get a good night’s sleep
00:01
Day or night?
I can’t wait for day time to spend more time with little one but I am still a night owl, love a night out and seem to get way more done once little one is fast asleep.
00:06
Home or away?
Love exploring and travelling and can’t wait to do this with Amelie. But there is no place like home.
00:09
Deliciously Ella (@deliciouslyella) or Deliciously Stella (@deliciouslystella)?
@deliciouslyella but I most certainly have my @deliciouslystella days.
00:11
Last person you called?
My partner to check if he was going to make it home for bathtime. Phone calls seem to be short and sweet at the moment. I love What’s app, especially at 4am when other mummy friends are up discussing their sleep progress (or lack of).
00:15
Last thing you bought?
Carvela over the knee boots… Mama’s getting it back.
00:18
One thing you wished you’d known (pre-baby)?
That life will never be the way I knew it and how much joy and love one little person can bring. Totally in love and its put so many things into perspective. Don’t sweat the small stuff.
00:27
One thing you wish you’d not been told (pre-baby)?
That a full night’s sleep is a distant memory; I didn’t believe how bad it could be.
00:33
Can’t live without…
Chocolate and coffee: caffeine fixed.
00:39
Can’t live with…
Random strangers who get up close and personal with my baby… so odd. Personal space people!
00:42
Best mothering moment?
When Amelie wakes up and smiles
00:49
Worst mothering moment?
She has just had her first cold and it broke me. I just wanted to make it all better so started raiding the shops for things to help and Googled literally everything!
00:50
Shout out to…
The wonderful Jenny; it feels amazing to know that there are other mothers out there who are on the same wavelength. To my own mother who has been a rock since
