Welcome back waist

Getting my mojo back! Anyone who says having a baby is easy are lying. It has thrown my life and body upside down.

It has been a pretty horrendous week with Amelie and myself back and forth to the doctors and hospital, my heart in my mouth, watching her every movement like a hawk. Spent nights on the sofa letting her watch copious amounts of Peppa Pig (what is in that programme, she has no idea whats going on but she is well and truly hooked!) whilst she falls asleep in my arms. Finally today signs of little improvement and my stress levels have reduced and we are yet again a little stronger for this bumpy week.

Amelie is eight months today and I am finally starting to feel more like myself. Someone told me it takes nine months to make a baby and expect to take nine months to get your old self back, I am now beginning to see the truth in this.... one month to go!

I've ditched the maternity jeans, braved to get my legs out and injected colour into my wardrobe just in time for spring. I held onto my maternity clothes for far too long, over washed and out of shape but wow they were comfortable. I was nervous to venture into my pre baby wardrobe for fear they wouldn't fit.

It's a lovely feeling to welcome my waist back and start dressing like me, rather then pregnant me or just had a baby me.

Now feeling ready I have got back into the world of casting and I am loving it. I have a new level of confidence I didn't have before, after having a baby I honestly feel like there is no challenge too great I could't face.

Officially getting my mojo back whilst still juggling work life balance but now with confidence.
